Why should I rent from Alexandria Photo Booths?
We use high end custom made, environment friendly (No Chemicals!), 100% digital, versatile and portable photo booths. We understand that THIS IS YOUR DAY AND YOUR EVENT! You can rest assure that you and your guest will be treated with the highest level of respect and service for the duration of the rental. See our Rates page for details. Oh yeah, we are fully insured as required by most venues unlike the other guys!

How does the photo booth work?
It’s very easy! Cram as many people as you can into the booth. Your guest will see themselves on the display. “Touch” the start button on the touch screen monitor. Strike a pose and the photo booth will take 4 pictures 5 seconds apart.

What is the standard number of hours for renting the photo booth?
3 hours usually does the trick. We can customize the times to suit your needs

Outdoor party?
No problem! Since our booths are electronical, we require adequate overhead shelter and a flat surface at a bare minimum for outdoor events. We have an outdoor canopy that is available for an additional fee.

What quality of prints does your booth produce?
We use high end Canon digital camera that takes the pictures and all strips are printed on a high end Minilab printer. This is the same printers that are used in Kodak kiosk at your local picture processing centers worldwide. The photos are water resistant and have a UV coating applied so color photos will last a lifetime and the Black and White Photos will have that antique photo booth look.

How long does it take to print out the photo strips?
It takes approximately 11 seconds 4×6 prints (2 photo Strips).

Will my guest have the ability to e-mail / test themselves a digital copy of the photos taking during their sitting?
Yes – Using our Social Media Kiosk. For private parties, we do not store the e-mail information so your guest’s e-mail information will never be shared or compromised in any way.

Can my guests choose between Color or Black & White photos?
Yes, our state of the art touch screen system will allow your guest to choose between full color or black & white prints with just a simple touch.

How much room do you need to set up the photo booth?
The size of our panel booths are 3 feet wide x 6 feet high x 6 feet long. the size of our soft sided booths are 5 feet wide x 6 feet high x 5 feet long.  We need about a 12×12 area to operate the booth.

How many people can fit in the enclosed booth together?
The panel booth can accommodate 2-4 comfortably. The max record as of to date is 11 people! The Soft sided booth, well the record is 15 faces!

How many photos can my guests take?
Our photo booth service includes unlimited sessions during the duration of your photo booth rental

What exactly is the Deluxe Custom scrapbook?
The guest registry scrap book is a 11″ x 8.5” customized cover scrapbook with blank pages to place photo strips and have your guests write comments in. This can also be the guest book of your event as well.

How much does delivery and set up cost?
The set up and break down cost is included in the rental price with free delivery to any site within a 60-mile radius of Alexandria and the twin cities. Out of that there will be a $2.00 per mile charge for delivery

When is the best time to start the photo booth for a wedding event?
The best time to start is usually when your guests first arrive at the reception. It gives your guests something fun to do while they wait for the wedding party to arrive. The second best time is right after dinner speeches

What is needed to reserve a photo booth?
All photo booth rentals require a signed contract including all times and dates. All reservations also require a $200 mandatory NON REFUNDABLE deposit to lock in your date. This deposit of $200 will go towards your balance.

When is the final payment due?
The final balance is due at least 14 days before your event.

What payments are accepted?
We accept Cash, Checks and all major credit cards through PayPal. Please note that payment by check requires 2 weeks to clear.

My Venue requires that all vendors carry liability insurance. Are you insured?
Yes we are Fully insured and will provide proof upon request
